Abstract
Over the past two decades there have been advances in the fields of medicine and health. Two areas worthy of note are the emerging fields of precision medicine and precision health. In addition, Precision Psychology has been put forward as a new direction. This paper briefly looks at these areas and considers the possible development of precision coaching and precision coaching psychology and provides two possible working definitions to enable further discussion. The paper tentatively concludes that Precision Coaching Psychology may be at the cusp of becoming an emerging sub-discipline of psychology although Precision Health Coaching is likely to be developed earlier.
