Abstract
Coaching psychology has been applied in the domain of education for different population with different purposes. However, there is lack of research on coaching for students, particularly facilitating the development of positive learning dispositions and lifelong learning capacities at schools. In this article, I propose that educational coaching, as an interdisciplinary field of educational psychology and coaching psychology, could enhance student learning, performance and growth in formal educational settings using established and evidence-based coaching models. Current research themes, methodologies and reflective thoughts are discussed.
